A new gateway designed by a pupil from Tresham College has been installed and officially opened at Meadow Road Park in Kettering.Following a £150,000 improvement scheme at the Park, North Northamptonshire Council (under the former Kettering Borough Council) approached Tresham College to ask for possible designs from the College’s Art & Design students for a new gateway in the park from Meadow Road.Following delays, due to the pandemic, the winning design by Jasmine Fuller has now been completed and installed. A survey has been launched on potential locations for on-street electric vehicle charging points in 7 towns across North Northamptonshire.10 sites are being considered in Corby, Easton on the Hill, Irthlingborough, Kettering, Rushden, Thrapston and Wellingborough and residents living nearby will receive a letter inviting them to have their say on the proposed sites.
