31 May NNSTARTUP DAY Returns For 2024

NNSTARTUP DAY returns this June as entrepreneurs and those starting businesses are recognised for their contribution to the Northamptonshire business community in a day of online celebration championing their business journeys and sharing their stories.

The day, founded in 2022 as an annual day of celebrating businesses in Northamptonshire who have started a business, is this year kindly being supported by Desborough based Poppy Design Studio and Marketing and Vulcan Works, a creative hub based in Guildhall Road, Northampton and will see a series of interviews from local entrepreneurs shared across the internet to celebrate their business journeys, recognise their commitment to being an entrepreneur and provide real stories from those walking the walk and running businesses.

Starting a business isn’t easy and NNSTARTUP DAY is also about helping those looking to start a business or in their early days of running their own, to grow and progress.

This year will see something exciting happen as for the first time, NNSTARTUP DAY will feature interviews face to face with business owners across Northamptonshire about how they got started, why they started and how their business journey has been.

NNBN Director Simon Cox said “We’ll be travelling to local businesses talking to people about their start up journey and celebrating entrepreneurship here in Northamptonshire. We don’t celebrate entrepreneurship and our creative, innovative people enough I feel and NNSTARTUP DAY is the day that we like to spotlight entrepreneurs that are walking the walk and running businesses.”

“Throughout the day we’ll be sharing interviews on our social media with Northamptonshire business owners who have just started out in business through to those who have been in business for over forty years in our series of short videos and interviews.”

“Entrepreneurs work hard, they are innovative and add so much to our local communities with a positive outlook on not only their businesses, but their local communities.”

“We’ve got a day of content going out on our social media channels as well as a special guest appearance from the Micro Business Champion, Tony Robinson OBE, who talks about entrepreneurship and starting businesses.”

The date for NNSTARTUP 2024 has been announced as Wednesday 19th June and the full line up will be announced in the forthcoming weeks leading up to the day.
