Last night marked a momentous occasion as the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2023 unfolded in grandeur at the Northampton Town Centre Hotel. Sponsored by Headline Sponsors Wilson Browne Solicitors, this event brought together businesses in Northamptonshire, honouring their achievements, innovation, and contributions to the local economy in the Awards organised by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and superbly hosted by MC for the evening John Griff DL.
The awards ceremony shone a spotlight on businesses across various categories, recognising their excellence and dedication. Among the prestigious winners was Trilogy Active, announced as the Charity of the Year, a testament to their outstanding commitment to serving the community.
In the realm of burgeoning businesses, Ena HR & Training emerged victorious, securing the title of Best New Business of the Year. Vivien Ewing from Iforce Limited was celebrated as the Young Business Person of the Year, embodying the spirit of entrepreneurialism and innovation.
Diversity and sustainability were not just talking points but pivotal themes of the evening. Mannol UK, Sedgebrook Hall and FMH Conveyors International Ltd were applauded for their exceptional efforts, bagging the Diversity in the Workplace Award, West Northamptonshire Sustainability Award and North Northamptonshire Sustainability Award, respectively.
Recognising the importance of small businesses, Beccy Hurrell Voice & Arts Limited claimed the title of Small Business of the Year, highlighting the significant contributions made by enterprises of all sizes.
The essence of commitment to customers was acknowledged with Commsave Credit Union receiving the esteemed Customer Commitment Award, underscoring their dedication to exceptional service.
Global outreach and influence were recognised through the Global Business of the Year accolade, bestowed upon Hi-Force Limited for their significant impact on an international scale.
VMS Limited emerged as a standout, securing two accolades: the North Northamptonshire Business of the Year and the High Growth Business of the Year, reflecting their exponential growth and local prominence.
The title of Business Person of the Year went to Jevengij Lyzko from Mannol UK whilst Acorn Analytical Services returned home with the West Northamptonshire Business of the Year.
The celebration of workplace wellbeing and employee-centric initiatives culminated in the recognition of Northamptonshire Community Foundation with the Workplace Wellbeing Award.
Noteworthy sponsors like Mannol UK, Commsave Credit Union, BSL-IT, The University of Northampton, Poppy Design Studio and many others lent their support, contributing to the success and prestige of the event.
The pinnacle of the evening was the presentation of The Pinnacle Award, graciously sponsored by Wilson Browne Solicitors, bestowed upon Marlec Engineering Co Ltd, honouring their pinnacle position within their industry.
