Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce seeks Non-executive Board Directors

Are you an experienced Senior HR Professional, if so, the Northamptonshire Chamber & Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce Board is looking for an individual who has a specific background in HR, these skills will compliment those already found within the Board to provide the best support to the operational team and our members.

The current Board mix is diverse, however the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce are keen to attract individuals from the following sectors: Manufacturing/Logistics, Commercial, Public and not for profit, Hospitality/tourism and Creative Industries, although this is not an exclusive list, and they would welcome interest from any individual who meets the essential criteria as detailed in the Person Specification document.

The Chamber Board is made up of senior managers from the Chamber’s membership organisations and they are looking to enhance the range of experience and knowledge within this group by gaining interest from likeminded individuals who are committed to the Chamber network and what it has to offer the business community, the board looks to be representative of its members’ activities.

As a director you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of governance are applied to managing the performance of the Chamber’s activities and for representing the interest of the Members. As an ambassador you will promote the Chambers aims and objectives as appropriate across the business community.
