Six Inches of Soil film screening – September 19th, Arc Cinema Daventry

Alexina Cassidy, from ActNow Consulting has organised the screening of a new UK documentary feature film called Six Inches of Soil – it tells the story of remarkable farmers, communities, small businesses, chefs and entrepreneurs who are leading the way to transform how our food is produced and consumed. The film follows three new farmers on the first year of their regenerative journey to heal the soil and help transform the food system – Anna Jackson, a Lincolnshire 11th generation arable and sheep farmer; Adrienne Gordon, a Cambridgeshire small-scale vegetable farmer; and Ben Thomas, who rears pasture fed beef cattle in Cornwall.

It will be screened at the Arc Cinema Daventry on 19 September at 5.30pm, and it is now available to book via the Arc Cinema website.  After the screening, the audience will have a chance to ask questions of a small Panel including one of the film’s Producers, Dr Lucy Michaels, and a local regenerative farmer and a local sustainable food expert (names to be confirmed). There will also be an opportunity for some chatting, drinks, and snacks.
