30 Jun Rushden Lakes welcomes The Body Shop
The Body Shop opened their brand-new store at Rushden Lakes yesterday, Thursday 29th June 2023. At 10.30am, a green ribbon was cut by Nathan Long from The Wildlife Trust to officially open the British beauty brands doors in Garden Square.
The friendly team, donned in green aprons, welcomed their first visitors – some of which had been eagerly waiting to explore haircare, make up, skincare and more since 9am. Many will have been happy to learn that the first 200 customers to spend £25 or more in-store are set to receive a goodie bag worth £20*, and that limited edition fragrances, Luscious Lychee & Zesty Lime Blossom, are both available. The Body Shop’s festival event is also now live, where customers will receive a tote bag and treats if £35 is spent!*
The shiny new store also boasts one of The Body Shop’s Refill Stations – a scheme that’s available at selected stores globally. As part of their movement to help clean up the planet, customers can pop in-store to pick up an aluminium bottle and fill with refillable haircare, shower gel or hand wash favourites. Then once used, repeat the process.
Donna French, Centre Manager at Rushden Lakes said, “We’re delighted to welcome The Body Shop to Rushden Lakes, and to expand our beauty offering for our customers. The new store looks incredible, and we can’t wait to see our customers reactions.”
Joining an already-impressive line-up of similar brands including Boots, L’Occitane and Superdrug, the opening of The Body Shop cements Rushden Lakes as a destination to shop for beauty and skincare in Northamptonshire. Best yet? Furry friends are also welcome! The Body Shop joins Rushden Lakes’ list of dog-friendly stores.
