29 Nov All The Wonder at Rushden Lakes this Christmas

Christmas is nearly upon us as decked-out store fronts and glittering lights kick start our ‘All The Wonder’ festive theme for 2022 at Rushden Lakes. There is plenty for the family to enjoy, from Spinderella, the Nutcracker, the Snow Unicorn, festive singers and a special performance from the Rushden Town Band.

What’s on and when:

Handmade and Vintage Christmas Fair

The ever popular Handmade and Vintage Christmas fair will be back for two weekends in December. Come and find the perfect gift for that special someone by browsing through the stalls of designer-makers, artists, artisans, vintage and antique dealers and small, local businesses on 3^rd & 4^th and 10^th & 11^th December.

Spinderella, the Nutcracker & the Snow Unicorn

On 3rd, 7th, 17th & 21st December, shoppers can enjoy magical music, dance and storytelling performances from Spinderella, the Nutcracker & the Snow Unicorn. The illuminated characters will be creating Christmas magic and posing for festive selfies with shoppers. Some lucky shoppers may even be lucky enough to receive a gift!

Festive singers and Rushden Town Band

If that wasn’t enough, there will be festive singers spreading Christmas joy on Sunday 18^th and Friday 23^rd of December. On Monday 19^th December, Rushden Town Band will also be performing.

Nene Wetlands Winter event

Join The Wildlife Trust as they celebrate Christmas on the 10^th & 11^th December with their festive weekend. Families can expect festive singing, free refreshments, sustainable gifting and natural crafts.

Encompass

This year Rushden Lakes are supporting local charity, Encompass to support those facing poverty, homelessness and addiction. Shoppers are invited to donate items that will be essential to those in need over the winter period. Bring your items to Rushden Lakes Customer Services up until 22^nd December.

Christmas Quiz

Rushden Lakes has also created the ultimate quiz on their website. From 1^st December you can take in the quiz after a small donation to Encompass and you can then find out how well you know Rushden Lakes. Once you have completed the quiz you may be in with a chance of winning some prizes!

We have so many wonderful activities happening this year. With live music, the quiz, late night shopping and our fantastic roaming characters there’s plenty to make shopping a great day out for all the family.”
