05 Dec Creative Arts Duo Triumphs with Duet of Business Awards
BHVA (Beccy Hurrell Voice & Arts Limited), a beacon of wellbeing and artistic innovation, has been celebrating with businesses across Northamptonshire at the recent Northamptonshire Business Awards and NNBN Awards. The creative arts coaching company has won two awards, underpinning its commitment to business growth and positive community impact.
BHVA was crowned ‘Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year’ at the NNBN Business Awards, held at Kettering Park Hotel. This prestigious accolade recognises the company’s unwavering dedication to promoting wellbeing through the arts within many different settings throughout Kettering and Northamptonshire.
Director Lindsey Atkins said “We may be small, but we are mighty in our mission and impact. Being recognised for the value of what we do is truly incredible, and for others to understand just what a positive impact the arts can have on people’s lives is why we do what we do each day.”
The accolades continued as BHVA triumphed as ‘Small Business of the Year’ at the Northamptonshire Business Awards, held at The Park Inn, Northampton, as well as being a finalist for ‘North Northamptonshire Business of the Year’ alongside national and global corporations, VMS Limited and Ball Corporation.
The ‘Small Business of the Year’ Award, sponsored by Opus Energy, highlights the growth and mission that BHVA hold. Luke Harrison, Director of Customer Operations at Opus Energy said “We felt Beccy Hurrell and Lindsey Atkins perfectly represented what the category was looking for, namely – a business which showed growth, a good financial basis and an incredible journey and mission.”
Reflecting on the awards, Founder and Director Beccy Hurrell said “We can’t still quite believe it. Moving forwards, BHVA will continue with their individual and group tuition from beginners to professionals, working with schools and individuals to support Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, and supporting students to re-engage with schools and curriculum. BHVA will also be launching it training and coaching programmes in 2024, using the creative arts as the tools for development.
